Actress Priyanka Chopra covers the August issue of the ELLE UK magazine.
The actress combines her Hollywood and Bollywood careers. She comes from India and is the only Indian-born female in the TV history to be a lead character in the American prime time television series. Just a quick reminder – Priyanka portrayed FBI Agent Alex Parrish in the crime series “Quantico.” That what makes Priyanka a global star.
In her interview, she speaks about sisterhood, marriage and fame.
On her marriage to Nick Jonas: “I’d never realised having a husband and a boyfriend are such different things. When you say your vows, it’s like, this person is my family, and it’s the family I chose. There’s a weird responsibility to them. And a safety that comes from it. We are learning about each other every day.”
On shopping: “I hate shopping, [apart from] shopping for books. I can’t shop for Nick, he’s so particular in his taste for clothes and shoes. But I’ll buy him accessories, which he likes.”
On Sophie and Danielle: “I’ve never had a sister, so it’s really nice to have Danielle and Sophie, and just inheriting the family by proxy. Sophie is super talented, super funny and we have the most fun when we go out together. She’s incredible. By the time this comes out, she’ll be the new Mrs Jonas – I can’t wait for her to join the family.”
On Meghan Markle: “Megs… she was always meant for big things.”
