Prince Harry opened up in a new video recorded in his new home in Los Angeles last weekend. He spoke about the Invictus Games, an annual event organized to support wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel.

This year’s Invictus Games were scheduled to take place in May 2020 in The Hague (the Netherlands), but were postponed to 2021 due to the on-going pandemic.

In the video, Prince Harry urged participants to look out for each other and support one another.

“As we commemorate VE Day this weekend and pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of the entire Second World War generation, we should have also been gathering together in the Netherlands to kickstart the Invictus Games 2020 in The Hague,” says Harry. “Life has changed dramatically for all of us since I was last in The Hague, but the IG 2020 team has done an incredible job to adapt so quickly to the situation, and they are busy putting plans in place for next year.”

Next year’s Invictus Games are being planned now and more details will be provided shortly.

“The new dates will be shared with you very soon. I hope that all of those in the Invictus family are coping well and supporting each other through this challenging time,” adds Harry.

Prince Harry currently resides in Los Angeles (United States) with his wife Meghan Markle one 1-year-old son Archie.
