The screenplay for “Killers of the Flower Moon” was adapted from David Grann’s book of the same title. The literary source tells the true story of mysterious murders within the Osage Indian tribe in Oklahoma, where vast oil deposits were found beneath their land. It was one of the first cases tackled by the FBI. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, and John Lithgow. The screenplay adaptation was done by Eric Roth.
