Trailer for the second season of James Gunn’s Peacemaker series finally dropped. Fans will be pleased to find that the show’s signature razzmatazz and funky humor back. John Cena returns as the titular hero, who must deal with the fallout of the first season.
The action-packed trailer teases the mayhem to come, including a hint that the multiverse will be coming to the DCU. It also show the return of characters from season 1, including Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo and Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt. Additionally, we get a brand new villain in the form of Rick Flagg Sr. who is – you guessed it – the father of the former leader of Suicide Squad. Peacemaker and Flagg Sr. butt head really violently over the course of the trailer, which is surely just a smidge of what’s to come. There is also a surprise appearance that seems deadly surprising – but watch for yourself to find out!
