2026 is shaping up to be a great year for Olivia Rodrigo. Her third studio album, “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love”, has achieved great success on Spotify and the general music charts. This afternoon, Rodrigo announced that she has created the Daisy Chain Fields music festival.
The festival celebrates female artists and their impact on the music industry and features only female artists or bands with female members. When announcing the singers who will be performing at the festival, Rodrigo praised the lineup, stating on Instagram, “the lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends”.
In addition to Olivia Rodrigo, the performers include Stevie Nicks, Chappell Roan, Mitski, Doechii, Katseye, The Breeders, Rachel Chinouriri, Bikini Kill, Eli, Sarah McLachlin, Ache, Santigold, Garbage, Quiet Light, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Die Spitz.
The festival’s net proceeds will go to nonprofit organizations dedicated to promoting and advocating for women and girls. “I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change, and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that”, Olivia Rodrigo wrote on Instagram.
The Festival will take place at the Great Park, a huge public park located in Irvine, California, on August 29 of this year. Presale tickets go on sale this Wednesday, June 24.
