Nick Jonas will be joining the 18th season of the NBC competition show “The Voice” as a coach. Gwen Stefani will be leaving the competition show after the 17th season.

Nick Jonas will become the coach for “The Voice” in its spring 2020 season.

Nick broke the news during “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on 7 October 2019 (Tuesday).

“I am so excited about this. You’re basically the first people I’ve told, so thank you for being a part of this special moment for me,” says Nick.

“As a member of one of the hottest pop groups, Nick’s success in navigating all aspects of the music industry is exceptional. We were so impressed by his innate musicality, technical aptitude and passion… and know he will be an incredible fit as a coach,” admits Meredith Ahr, president of NBC Entertainment.

Nick is not the only Jonas Brother to serve as a coach for “The Voice.” Joe Jonas was a coach for the Australian edition of the competition show.
