The highly anticipated follow up to Disney’s Oscar-winning 2016 animation Zootopia is slithering back real soon. The sequel builds anticipation with an adorable teaser trailer that sees the return of our favorite crime-solving fox and bunny and the rest of the animal world residents. The dialogue-less clip is set to an electone soundtrack played by a trio of hamsters and features multiple snippets of Nick, Judy and a new snake character traveling across the animal kingdom while evading authorities.
Reads the synopsis: “Detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down.”
“To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.”
Oscar winners Jared Bush (co-director/co-writer “Zootopia,” director/co-writer “Encanto”) and Byron Howard (director “Zootopia,” director “Encanto”) are directing, with Bush writing the script. Yvett Merino (Oscar-winning producer “Encanto”) produces.
