Netflix is officially taking KPop Demon Hunters on the road. The streaming giant announced a worldwide concert tour based on the breakout animated film during its 2026 Upfront presentation. Produced in partnership between Netflix and AEG Presents, the upcoming “KPop Demon Hunters World Tour” will bring the fictional idol group HUNTR/X to audiences across multiple continents beginning in 2027.

Though specific dates and cities remain under wraps. Entertainment Weekly reported that the tour is expected to begin sometime in 2027 and could include more than 100 stops globally.

Released in 2025, KPop Demon Hunters became an unexpected crossover sensation for Netflix, blending supernatural fantasy with K-pop aesthetics and original music. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the animated feature follows idol trio Rumi, Mira and Zoey, who secretly battle demons while maintaining their careers as members of the globally adored group HUNTR/X.

The film’s soundtrack quickly became part of its appeal, with songs like “Golden,” “Soda Pop” and “How It’s Done” dominating streaming platforms and social media trends. Clips from the movie exploded across TikTok and YouTube, where fans recreated choreography, posted edits and treated the fictional group like a real-world act.

Netflix executives described the upcoming tour as a hybrid concert and immersive fan event inspired by actual K-pop arena productions. AEG Presents — the company behind tours for artists including BLACKPINK and BTS — is producing the live shows.

The expansion reflects the growing scale of the franchise, which has already spawned merchandise collections, brand partnerships and fan events worldwide.

The concert isn’t the only thing fans can look forward to: Netflix has previously greenlit a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters, bringing back the original creative team to compose the next chapter of the franchise.
