Naya Rivera Goes Missing at a Lake in California

Naya Rivera went missing at Lake Piru in Southern California on 8 July (Wednesday). The lake is located approx. 55 miles north-west of Los Angeles. The actress is now presumed dead following the boating incident, although the search for her continues.

Naya rented a boat on Wednesday for a trip with her 4-year-old son Josey. They were both swimming in the lake, though the actress never came back. The boat with the child was found by other boater three hours later.

The search and rescue operation was suspended for the night, but it was resumed in the morning (Thursday).

Naya Rivera is best known for the role of Santana Lopez in the television series “Glee.” She has been recently portraying Collette Jones in “Step Up: High Water.”
