Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are no longer husband and wife. The former couple finalized their divorce on 28 January (Tuesday) and they are officially single now.
The terms of the divorce were worked out by the former couple (and their lawyers) back in December. They had a prenuptial agreement in place. Given that they had no children, the division of property was a smooth and quick process.
Miley and Liam got married on 23 December 2018 after several years of dating. In August 2019, Liam filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” They tried to make their marriage work, but their busy schedules and extensive time apart eventually led to the split.
Miley is currently dating singer Cody Simpson, while Liam is seeing model Gabriella Brooks.
