Stranger Things star Maya Hawke and musician Christian Lee Hutson tied the knot in a surprise Valentine’s Day ceremony on February 14, 2026, in New York City. The intimate wedding at St. George’s Episcopal Church brought together family, friends and a noteworthy roster of Hollywood pals, including her Stranger Things co-stars.

Hawke, 27, best known for her breakout role as Robin Buckley across multiple seasons of Netflix’s genre hit, wore a classic white gown paired with a feathery winter coat, while Hutson, 35, opted for a traditional black tuxedo. Her parents, actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, both attended, with Ethan escorting his daughter down the aisle.

Several of Hawke’s Stranger Things costars joined the celebration, creating an off-screen mini-reunion. Among those present were Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery. Other celebrity attendants included close friends Iris Apatow, Kathryn Newton, and Sam Nivola. The reception continued later at a private venue in Manhattan, where guests mingled and offered congratulations.

Hawke and Hutson have been romantically linked since 2023 and were close friends before becoming partners. Hutson has collaborated with Hawke on her music projects, including her recent albums Moss and Chaos Angel, and she has contributed to his work as well, blending their artistic and personal lives.

Born from a famous family, Hawke has proven her mettle as one of Hollywood’s most promising rising stars thanks to her indelible screen presence in both indie and big budget productions. The nuptial marks the beginning of what is about to be a busy year for the actress, who’s set to appear in blockbuster prequel The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping and indie romcom Wishful Thinking.
