As it begins filming with returning stars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci, The Devil Wears Prada 2 has announced more additional cast and it is, unlike florals for springs, truly groundbreaking.
In addition to the previously announced Kenneth Branagh as Miranda Priestly’s husband, the film has added Charlie’s Angels and Elementary’s Lucy Liu, Sex Lives of College Girl’s Pauline Chalamet, and Beidgerton’s Simone Ashley. And that’s not all, also joining the cast are The Leftovers’ Justin Theroux, The Office’s BJ Novak as well as Broadway stars Conrad Ricamora (Oh, Mary!) and Helen J. Shen (Maybe Happy Ending). That cast is stacked higher than Andy’s to-do list for Miranda!
The new film will take place in the declining era of print magazines and will pit Miranda with Emily, now a high-powered executive at an LVMH-esque luxury company whose advertising dollar Miranda desperately needs.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters May 1, 2026.
