Louis Tomlinson is almost everywhere these days promoting his music and album “Walls.” He recently stopped by the Build Series in New York City to talk about his music, upcoming record, One Direction and plans for the future.
When asked about One Direction’s split, Louis admitted that he was totally surprised by what was happening back then.
“I just wasn’t ready for the band to go on a break, to be honest. It surprised me to a certain degree, so I didn’t have any plan in place or anything like that,” admits Louis.

In other interview, a former One Direction singer also admitted that he could not forgive Zayn Malik for leaving the group to start a solo career. It seems like this particular wound has not healed yet.
“At the moment, I am still pretty mad about the whole thing. I don’t think he [Zayn] handled it very well. But never say never,” says Louis.
Louis Tomlinson’s album “Walls” is set to be released on 31 January 2020.
