The sequel to the 2003 teen hit Freaky Friday is almost here. Bringing back Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis to reprise their roles, the Disney film will revolve around a switch-up hijinks ahead of the upcoming wedding of Anna (Lohan) instead.
The catch this time, there are four people involved in the soul swap: Anna, her mother Tess (Curtis), Anna’s teen daughter Harper (Julia Butters), and Anna’s future stepdaughter Lily (Sophia Hammons). With Harper and Lily ending up in Anna and Tess’ bodies, respectively, the two bitter rivals will scheme to break up their parents’ wedding. Their strategy? Get Anna’s first love (Chad Michael-Murray) to fall for her. Of course, things go awry from there.
