Kaylee Bryant bid farewell to “Legacies” during last week’s mid-season finale. The actress played Josie Saltzman, one of the twin daughters of Alaric Saltzman.
After her last episode as a series regular on 16 December, Kaylee took to her social media to explain the reason for such an abrupt leaving.
Even though Kaylee’s character bought a one-way ticket out of Mystic Falls and said goodbye to the school and girlfriend Finch, executive producers of “Legacies,” Julie Plec and Brett Matthews, said that the doors would always be open for Kaylee to return in whatever capacity.
“While it’s heartbreaking to say goodbye to such a beloved Super Squad member, we wish Kaylee happiness and success. We look forward to watching her career grow in the future, and our door at Legacies will always be open to her, because the world is simply a better place with Josie Saltzman in it,” says the statement issued by producers.
Kaylee Bryant will be joining “The Locksmith,” a new thriller film where she will star opposite Jeffrey Nordling.
