628views

At the beginning of this week, Kate Middleton made a public visit to Baby Basics in Sheffield in South Yorkshire. Baby Basics, created in 2009, is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families. It acts as a food bank for baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, food and books.

“Baby Basics provides much needed essentials and equipment to mothers and families who are unable to provide these items for themselves; including but not limited to teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking.” baby-basics.org.uk

The Duchess of Cambridge helped 19 British-based retailers donate baby supplies, clothes, and more to over 40 baby banks across the U.K.

Kate was wearing a classy white Suzannah dress and a face mask by the brand Amaia, one of the Duchess’ favorite children’s brands.
