Recently circulating videos of Justin Bieber are sparking concern about his sorry state.
In a viral clip from the private party he attended at week 2 of Coachella last week, the Canadian singer could be seen smoking a joint and appeared so visibly high that he had to lean on another person. Another clip showed the father of one hunched over in the crowd shirtless, marijuana in hand, and looking significantly more emaciated. The videos immediately spurred a barrage of concerns.
“Someone gotta save Justin Bieber. He look like he going thru it at Coachella,” said one commenter.
“I’m sorry but he doesn’t look OK,” another commented.
“He’s not just ‘having fun’—he’s definitely under some hard influence,” quipped another.
The mental state of the “Love Yourself” hitmaker has been the subject of worries by his fans as of late. This is fueled by several public appearances where the star displayed erratic behaviors. In February, Bieber was accused of being high while attending wife Hailey Bieber’s Rhode pop-up event in Los Angeles. A few weeks ago, he lashed out at paparazzis waiting for him at a Palms Spring coffee shop, yelling that they “only care about money.” Then on the first weekend of Coachella, the singer made headlines when a photo of him kissing rapper Sexyy Red at a party circulated online.
As the controversies continue to mount, Bieber’s camp remains firmly in their “what do you mean?” stance.
“The rumours are exhausting and pitiful and show that, despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive,” his rep said. This only fuels further criticism that Bieber might not have people with his best interests around.
