Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress and singer. She rose to international prominence in 2000 after she had won the Miss World pageant. This win contributed to her Bollywood career as she starred in such successful productions as “The Hero: Love Story of a Spy,” “Andaaz,” “Aitraaz,” “Krrish” and “Don.” In 2015, Priyanka was the first Indian actress ever to headline a prime time American drama series – she portrayed FBI Agent Alex Parrish in the thriller series “Quantico.” Since then, she has appeared in other Hollywood productions – “Baywatch” and “Isn’t It Romantic.” She also contributes to charities by raising awareness to such issues as environment, health, education, women’s rights, gender equality and feminism. She received the Padma Shri Award in 2016, which is the fourth highest civilian award in India. Priyanka is currently married to singer Nick Jonas.
