Have you ever imagined a game where you can play as Nancy Wheeler while your teammates can be Nicolas Cage, Cheryl Mason and Lara Croft as you escape from Chucky? This is possible in Dead By Daylight.
The asymmetrical 1v4 game celebrated its 10th anniversary on June 14th and has established itself as the greatest horror game currently available. With new chapters added every 3 months after release, the game features Silent Hill, Castlevania, Stranger Things, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and much more licensed and exclusive content.
What started as an indie project is officially celebrating its 10th anniversary, and to commemorate it, there couldn’t be a better addition to the game than an inspiration from the beginning of it all: Jason Voorhees has been officially added as a playable character. Now you can hunt down (or run from) one of the most iconic names in horror.
The news doesn’t stop there! In a special 10th-anniversary event, Dead By Daylight held a live stream last Sunday to share the latest news. The chapter featuring Art, The Clown, from the “Terrifier” franchise will be a chapter of the game in November. As an expansion of the game’s universe, “The Casting of Frank Stone” will receive an original chapter in March 2027.
“Scooby Doo” will also be added to the game as a skin in the last month of the year. New skins for “The Walking Dead” were also announced: Glenn Rhee coming in August 2026 and Negan coming in 2027. Dead By Daylight is also celebrating the 50 years of Iron Maiden with a new Legendary skin Eddie Cosmetic for the killer The Huntress.
