Jannik Sinner defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinal of the US Open and advanced to the final. Sinner took almost two three hours and a half to hold off Aliassime in a thrilling match between the two.
“Five straight Grand Slam finals, it’s something great. The consistency and putting myself there in the later stages of the biggest tournaments we have, it’s amazing, no?” said Jannik Sinner in a post-match interview.
Jannik Sinner will face Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday in the final. Last time they met, Sinner defeated Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 during the Wimbledon 2025 final.
