With over 8,000 dating apps on the market, singles can be overwhelmed. We have simplified the process by providing a comparison of six popular dating apps to choose from. Here goes.
Hily Dating App
Hily dating app is unique because it prioritizes focusing on the dating process rather than the result. The overriding purpose of the Hily app is summed up in its slogan, “Date as you are.” This means that the app encourages people to share as many details about their true selves as they wish (job, hobbies, interests, education, etc.) but to be totally truthful.
The Hily dating app has many great features to make using the Hily app fun – “ick and click” to name likes and dislikes, fun icebreaker questions, and more.
Everything is focused on having fun while checking out potential matches in a safe and secure environment. With 35 million+ members, it may be smaller than some of the other apps, but the members form a welcoming and fun environment in which to date.
There are some opinions on is Hily scam or is Hily fake, but we can safely say that the Hily dating app is authentic.
Tinder
Tinder is a huge dating app that was one of the first to use the swiping feature. Users swipe left to reject a match and right to accept one. If two users both swipe right, a match is made. It has a very young user base, and the focus is casual.
The free account allows only a set number of swipes per day, but members can upgrade to fee-based premium features.
Tinder is certainly NOT fake or a scam.
Hinge
Another dating app that has been around a while and has a very large user base. There is no swiping feature here. Users create their profiles by answering a set of questions, and matches are presented when two users have very similar responses.
It’s easy to get registered which is a plus. Users are limited to a small number of likes but more are available with the premium versions.
Hinge is definitely a legit dating service.
Bumble
Women in control. It’s easy to use, uses a good matching algorithm based on commonalities of profiles, but is unique because women have to make the first move.
Matches are presented, and women have to make contact within 24 hours or the match is gone forever..
There have been some complaints about fake profiles.. There are good features with the free version but more with the premiums..
The app has about 50 million active users, and Bumble is definitely safe.
Badoo
Badoo uses the swiping feature but users can also access the database of fellow members and pick and choose those of interest, based upon looks and profile information, and can message them..
It’s easy to get registered and begin the dating process.
Badoo is not free. Users must select from six options.
Badoo is OK. It’s more for casual dating, its customer service is only available by filling out and submitting a form, and there are complaints about fake profiles.
Plenty of Fish
A popular app with no matching feature. Users have access to the entire database and contact anyone of interest.to see if that interest might be mutual – pretty simple and basic.
POF is totally free and easy to use but there are complaints about fake profiles and so many ads.
POF is legit, and its popularity is growing.
Verdict
We like Hily. It wants users to be who they are in a fun and relaxed environment and take their time—no pressure. It has a community atmosphere that other apps don’t seem to have.
Hily just feels comfortable for everyone, no matter what they want from dating.
