Hailee Steinfeld Releases “Wrong Direction”

Hailee Steinfeld did really kick off 2020 with a bang! The singer released her brand new single “Wrong Direction” on 1 January 2020.

“Happy New Year My Loves. I can’t wait to hear what you think,” tweets Hailee.

Fans speculate that the song alludes to Hailee’s relationship with and a tumultuous breakup from a former One Direction member – Niall Horan. Hailee and Niall dated for a year before calling it quits in December 2018.

Whether the song is actually about Niall or not, the singer himself admitted that it was okay for Hailee to talk about her personal experience through music, including their rocky breakup.
