Trailer for part 2 of musical sensation “Wicked: For Good” has flown in.
The action-packed trailer hints at the major confrontations to come as Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) prepares to expose the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) for his lies. Glinda (Ariana Grande), her former best friend, takes the crown – completing her transformation as Glinda the Good Witch. However, she remains conflicted as to where her allegiance lies. Meanwhile, Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey) is in a dilemma on his own as he is tasked to hunt down Elphaba.
Wicked is an origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West told from her point of view. It follows her school days as an outcast and her unlikely friendship with Glinda (née Galinda) before she became the Good Witch of the North. Dorothy and her gang from the original Wizard of Oz will play supporting players in this part 2, setting in motion a huge change in Oz that will change everybody in it… for good.
The trailer also shares snippets of songs from the record breaking musical, promising another epic sing-off by its talented cast.
