In an ongoing update from rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, his former assistant took the stand to testify about the abuses she endured. Using the pseudonym “Mia”, the accuser alleged that Diddy sexually assaulted her, among other things, though she said she wouldn’t press charges for it.
Furthermore, Mia detailed multiple abuse of power done by Diddy. She said that she would be “screamed at, humiliated, made fun of, and my job would be threatened” if Diddy believed she wasn’t doing her job. That includes wishing Combs a happy birthday on social media, which she was told was part of her job. She testified she would be “in trouble” if she missed that.
Diddy was also allegedly physically violent. On the stand, Mia recalled her arm getting injured because Diddy slammed a door on her multiple times. She, however, did not seek medical treatment, fearing that it would incur her ex-boss’ anger.
When asked why she stayed in the job, she testified that she feared for her safety and credibility, saying that she “wouldn’t have been able to get a job in the same or any industry” and “would’ve lost anything I knew.”
“I just knew his power and his wrath,” she added.
Mia’s testimony also revealed that Diddy’s hotel stays frequently involved extra charges for cleaning and damage, such as a $500 bill for “oil damage” and a $300 charge for cleaning the drapes.
The trial is currently entering its third week, with more witnesses set to testify.
