After six months of dating, Demi Lovato and Max Enrich called off their engagement and ended their relationship. The representatives of both Demi and Max are yet to comment on this, however, the reason for the split is cited as trust issues between the former couple.
Their relationship had started deteriorating just before Max was supposed to go to Atlanta for a movie project. Lately, his past tweets and social media messages about Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande have been circulating on the Internet, which caused Demi to distrust his motives.
“There has been a lot of tension and Demi left him to get a clear head. She didn’t know who Max truly was and didn’t think he had good intentions. There were many red flags she was ignoring and trying to turn a blind eye to,” says a source close to Demi.
Demi Lovato returned to Los Angeles where is supported by her friends and family.
