Coldplay Frontman Chris Martin and Ex Gwyneth Paltrow Reunite For Daughter’s Society Debut

Former spouse Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow might have been “consciously uncoupled” since 2014, but the two have retained a strong co-parenting bond for their two children, Apple, 20 and Moses, 18. On Saturday, November 30, the Coldplay lead singer and the Oscar winner came together in Paris for Apple’s society debut at the Le Bal des Débutantes. 

Paltrow shared the family affair through a series of photos on Instagram.

“A special long weekend in Paris,” captioned the “Shakespeare In Love” actress. 

The carousel showed the exes spending time around the City of Light with their kids and Paltrow’s mother, actress Blythe Danner. 

In one photo, Paltrow posed for a mirror selfie with her daughter, who was decked in a custom Valentino blue dress which reportedly took 750 hours to make. 

Another picture is a candid shot of Martin spending some father-son time with Moses at a park. 

Finally, the former couple shared a frame taken during the ball alongside Danner and Moses. Like their daughter, both were wearing Valentino by creative director Alessandro Michele. Paltrow was in a sheer black gown from the Italian fashion house’s Spring 2025 collection, while Martin wore a sleek tuxedo. 

In the years since their split, Martin and Paltrow have remained good friends. They are often spotted spending time or going on holidays with each other’s partner. Following their 2015 divorce, Paltrow got married to producer Brad Falchuk in 2018, while Martin is currently engaged to actress Dakota Johnson.
