Coco Gauff defeated Mirra Andreeva 7-5, 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the Madrid Open and advanced to the semifinals. Gauff took roughly one hour and a half to hold off Andreeva in a thrilling match between the two.
Coco Gauff will face Iga Swiatek on Thursday for a place in the final.
