Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress and singer who gained international recognition after her appearances in various US television series and movies, and her marriage to former heartthrob Nick Jonas.

1. Priyanka Chopra was born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur (India) to military physicians Ashok and Madhu Chopra.
2. In 2016 Priyanka was awarded Padma Shri in recognition of her distinguished contribution to arts. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian award in the Republic of India.
3. Priyanka married singer Nick Jonas on 1 December 2018 after several months of engagement. They were married in both traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies.
