Three of the hottest Hollywood A-list right now are set to lend their star powers to Materialists, an upcoming romantic comedy by Celine Song, director of the critically acclaimed Past Lives. It’s been a while since we got a decent romcom on the big screen, so Materialists’s lavish Manhattan-set visuals, cool premise and gorgeous cast are such a welcome treat. 

Actresses Pamela Anderson, Lindsay Duncan, and Dakota Fanning are teaming up for Sally Potter’s upcoming family drama, “Alma”. The indie film follows an extended family who meet to scatter the ashes of their mother only to find that her continued haunting presence explosively, and often comically, unravels the secrets of their lives. “Babygirl” breakout Esther McGregor, Esmé Creed-Miles, and Earl Cave also co-star.

"Sunrise on the Reaping," the second prequel to the dystopian franchise "Hunger Games," has finalized the main cast for its upcoming film adaptation. The film, based on Suzanne Collins’ bestselling novel, is set 24 years before Katniss volunteered to join the Games and will chronicle the time Haymitch Abernathy – the character originated by Woody Harrelson – became a Tribute for District 12.

The game is officially afoot for Netflix’s Enola Holmes 3. The streamer announces that the teen detective adventure has begun shooting in London with lead star Millie Bobby Brown. Louis Partridge, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham-Carter, Himesh Patel and Sharon Duncan-Brewster will also reprise their roles. 

On April 14, former child star Sophie Nyweide was found dead in Vermont. Later, it was confirmed that the actress — best known for her appearances in Noah, Bella, Margot at the Wedding, and Law & Order — was pregnant at the time of her death. She was 24.

After six years together, Twilight star Kristen Stewart and her fianceé Dylan Meyer finally said “I do”. On Sunday, the duo held an intimate wedding at the Mexican restaurant Casita Del Campo in Los Angeles attended by close friends and relatives.

The situation with Disney’s Snow White continues to get more and more poisonous. The film has already been deemed a box office failure, having made only $180 million against a $250 million budget after a month in theaters. Now, the film is banned thanks to one of its lead stars - and it’s not Rachel Zegler.

She recently called out Saturday Night Live (SNL)’s spoof of her character in the HBO dark comedy where her teeth became the butt of a joke. 

Ahead of its Cannes debut next month, offbeat auteur Wes Anderson just released a trailer for his upcoming film, The Phoenician Scheme. The crime caper comedy features Anderson’s signature aesthetic and a star-studded cast that include Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Imad Mardnli and Benedict Cumberbatch.
