Callum Turner, Adria Arjona and Amir El-Masry to Star in Ben Sharrock’s “Alone Together,” Produced by Florian Zeller

Callum Turner and Adria Arjona have been cast as the leads in “Alone Together,” the upcoming drama directed by Ben Sharrock. The film will also star Amir El-Masry.
The story follows Sam, a British filmmaker facing a midlife crisis who travels to the Arabian desert for a job. With his career stalled, a marriage on the brink of collapse, and guilt over being an absent father to his young son, Sam finds himself adrift. During a strange desert storm, he crosses paths with Inma, a captivating woman with whom he shares a fleeting yet powerful connection. But “Alone Together” is not a love story, both are adults burdened by their pasts, unable to fully escape their emotional scars.
Sam also develops an unexpected friendship with Abdullah, a charismatic local guide whose presence helps him explore his emotions and confront his inner turmoil.
The film will be produced by Florian Zeller, the Oscar and BAFTA-winning playwright, novelist, and filmmaker behind “The Father” and “The Son,” alongside Federica Sainte-Rose of Blue Morning Pictures. Production is set to begin in March 2026 in Oman, against the backdrop of the Arabian desert.
