BTS has confirmed a collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Diplo on their forthcoming album ARIRANG. The announcement adds another high-profile name to what is already one of the most anticipated music releases of the year and comes as the K-Pop powerhouse prepares to re-enter the global spotlight with new music and a world tour.
Diplo, whose résumé includes work with Major Lazer, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Madonna, spoke about the BTS project at the 2026 Fanatics Super Bowl Party in Las Vegas. He described the creative process as unusually collaborative and ambitious, telling reporters, “We made the craziest album ever. BTS brought ideas that were just next level.” On working with individual members, Diplo praised Jungkook’s vocals, adding, “No autotune. Perfect voice.” His comments were shared widely on social media following the event.
This is Diplo’s second collaboration with K-Pop megastars. Last year, he teamed up with BLACKPINK for their infectitious rave track “JUMP”, which immediately topped charts worldwide.
Full details about which tracks Diplo will co-produce have not been revealed, but industry insiders suggest his contributions span multiple songs, potentially blending BTS’s signature sound with electronic, dance and global pop elements. ARIRANG, the group’s first album release in more than three years, is set to contain 14 tracks showcasing the much-awaited full team reunion of members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
ARIRANG arrives March 20, 2026, with BTS set to perform music from the album live as part of their expansive 2026–27 world tour, offering fans around the globe both new sounds and high-energy performances.
