Fresh off of the release of their latest album “Deadline”, three of the four BLACKPINK members are returning to the scene – separately this time – with Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo all releasing new solo music within days of each other. Jennie kicked things off with her three-track EP “Fallen Angel,” which arrived August 28, while Lisa will release “SaWaDiKa” on September 3 and Jisoo will follow with her new single “CLICK” on September 4. The releases come weeks after all four BLACKPINK members reunited in Seoul for the group’s 10th-anniversary celebration.
Jennie’s “Fallen Angel” is her latest solo project after “Ruby,” her debut studio album, arrived in March 2025. The new EP features “Fallen Angel,” “Heaven” and “Less Than a Lover,” with the project released through her Odd Atelier label in partnership with Columbia Records. Lisa has a larger project on the horizon. “SaWaDiKa,” whose title comes from the Thai greeting “sawatdee ka,” serves as the lead single from her upcoming six-track EP “Press Play,” due October 23.
Jisoo’s “CLICK” arrives after her collaboration with Zayn, “EYES CLOSED,” which was released last October. The single will serve as a pre-release ahead of her next solo album, although details about the full project remain limited. The three releases give BLINKs a rapid succession of new material from the group’s members after their respective solo careers continued to expand.
The latest solo run comes after BLACKPINK’s third mini album, “Deadline,” which arrived February 27. It was the group’s first album since “Born Pink” in 2022 and followed their “Deadline” world tour. The quartet later reunited for their 10th anniversary on August 8, when Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé attended a special fan meet-and-greet in Seoul.
With each BLACKPINK member seemingly focused on building their solo careers, it might be a while before another full-team BLACKPINK reunion occurs.
