Black Panther Crosses Path With Fantastic Four in “Avengers: Doomsday” New Trailer

Marvel Studios has released a fourth teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, and the newest footage delivers one of the most talked-about cinematic crossovers in MCU history — Wakandan royalty meeting a member of the Fantastic Four as the universe expands ahead of the film’s wide release. See their desert-bound first meeting below!

The teaser opens with a somber narration of Shuri (Letitia Wright), now Black Panther, as she strides across the sand dune with King M’Baku (Winston Duke). Moments later, Ben Grimm, a.k.a. The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) steps onto the scene — his rocky form a stark contrast to the sleek Wakandan warriors. In a light moment of introduction, they exchange slightly awkward but wholesome greetings before a text card appears: “The Wakandans and The Fantastic Four will return in Avengers: Doomsday.”

This sequence constitutes the first on-screen encounter between a Fantastic Four character and Wakandan leadership in the primary MCU timeline, a milestone in Marvel’s ongoing narrative build-up. Comic lore famously intertwines these properties — with both Wakanda and the Fantastic Four having rich, sometimes adversarial ties to Atlantis and Namor — and the new teaser puts that history front and center. Alongside Grimm and Wakandan figures, the clip also includes Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mejía) and Talokan warriors, reinforcing the broader geopolitical tensions within the film’s multiverse stakes.

Earlier teasers from Marvel offered glimpses of other key players: a reflective Captain America (Chris Evans) in a farmhouse setting, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) defiantly invoking Odin’s strength, and a separate teaser highlighting established X-Men including Professor X, Magneto and Cyclops. These teasers have rolled out in recent weeks teasing aspects of each major team set to converge on Doomsday’s central conflict.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to release in U.S. theaters on December 18, 2026 as part of Marvel’s Phase Six, with a direct sequel — Avengers: Secret Wars — slated for December 17, 2027.
