Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse are officially parents. The model and actor welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Sylvie, with the couple sharing the news through a low-key Instagram post that showed their new family watching a Los Angeles Dodgers game together.
The September 28 post featured Palvin and Sprouse in matching Dodgers jerseys as Sprouse held their newborn daughter, whose face remained hidden from the camera. The announcement came with a playful caption: “We took Labor Day literally this year.”
The couple had previously confirmed they were expecting a girl during an episode of Sprouse’s “Wildmen” podcast in July. At the time, Sprouse said they had been calling their daughter “principessa,” the Italian word for princess.
Sprouse revealed the baby’s name one day after the birth announcement. During the September 29 episode of “Wildmen,” he referred to his daughter as Sylvie and shared a glimpse into his first days as a father. Palvin also posted a photo of Sprouse cradling their daughter on Instagram Stories, captioned “Daddy’s girl already.”
The couple’s relationship began in 2018 after Sprouse made the first move through Instagram. They eventually married in July 2023 at Palvin’s parents’ property in Hungary. Palvin revealed her pregnancy at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in May, where she and Sprouse appeared together on the red carpet before announcing the news on Instagram.
Sprouse first rose to fame as a child actor alongside his twin brother Cole Sprouse. The two achieved global prominence after starring in Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” (2005-2008). Meanwhile, Palvin made her name as one of the most prominent supermodels of the 2010s, appearing in countless runways and global fashion campaigns. From the time they started dating, the two have captured attention as one of Hollywood’s most darling lovebirds – never one to shy away from making their affections public.
