James Cameron’s threequel to his Pandora epic has just released its latest trailer – and it’s exhilarating to say the least. Click to see the trailer below!
The brand new trailer gives us a better look at the film’s new villain, the Na’vi fire tribe known as The Ash People, led by Varang (Oona Chaplin). Her ominous monologue and army of fire-yielding force are enough to signal the trouble she’ll bring to Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana)’s family. Speaking of the Sullys, they are still reeling from Neteyam’s death in the previous film, but do their best to forge ahead. Now integrating more with the water tribe Metkayina, we see the Sully brood coming into their own as they join their father to defend their territory against incoming threats.
Notably, the trailer also showcases an incredible improvement in the CGI department, building on already Oscar-winning visual effects from the previous film, 2022’s “Avatar: The Way of Water”. The landscape of Pandora is looking more vibrant and meticulous than ever, with the battle scenes around the planet delivering a hyper realistic spectacle you won’t believe are all actually computer generated.
Just like its predecessors, “Avatar: Fire and Ash” is raising expectations as the most anticipated film release of the year. The previous two films broke records as the highest grossing films of all time, so stakes are high for this third outing to deliver a similar outcome.
“Avatar: Fire and Ash” comes out December 2025 in theaters worldwide.
