Aryna Sabalenka Defeats Ekaterina Alexandrova to Advance to Round 4 of US Open 2024

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 in the third round of the US Open and advanced to the fourth round. Sabalenka took almost one hour and a half to hold off Alexandrova in a difficult match between the two as they finished after 2 A.M. (local time).

Aryna Sabalenka will face Elise Mertens on Sunday for a place in the quarterfinals.
