People magazine obtained access to this archived draft of Blake Lively’s contract for the film, right in the middle of her legal battle against Justin Baldoni.
The document was never signed by Lively, but it included the following: $100,000 for an Oscar nomination and $200,000 for a win, capped at $200,000 total. Lively would have been paid $75,000 for a Golden Globe nomination and $100,000 for a win, and $50,000 for a SAG Award nomination and $75,000 for a win.
The point is: no one knows who leaked it. And the timing couldn’t be more strategic, since the contract could serve to divert attention from the accusations Blake made against Baldoni and paint her as privileged.
Was it a calculated move to tarnish her image? A preemptive response from his defense? Or is someone else pulling the strings behind the scenes?
The truth is, everyone just wants it to be over.
