Yesterday, on 4 October 2020, was the 7th anniversary of the release of Miley Cyrus’ fourth studio album, “Bangerz.” It was the singer’s first studio album away from Disney Channel and Hollywood Records. The album had 13 tracks and the deluxe version featured 3 more songs to “Bangerz” (16 songs in total).

The first music to be released during the “Bangerz” era was “We Can’t Stop” on 3 June 2013. The single received a music video on 19 June 2013. The Billboard cited the song as one of the best tracks released that year. “We Can’t Stop” occupied the second position on the Billboard Hot 100.

The clip broke the YouTube viewing record with 10.2 million views in the first 24 hours. It also broke the record for the fastest video to reach 100 million views.

The second release during the “Bangerz” era was “Wrecking Ball,” which was a success since its premiere on 25 August 2013. Initially the song didn’t perform very well on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. After a bigger promotion by Cyrus’ record label, the song secured the singer’s first #1 on the Hot 100 chart.

On 9 September 2013, the song received the official video. Once again Miley Cyrus broke the record for the most watched music video in the first 24 hours. “Wrecking Ball” received 19.3 million views. 6 days later, the clip broke the record for receiving 100 million views faster on the platform.

Today the video has already passed 1 billion views.

The last music video from “Bangerz” was “Adore You.” The song was sent to the radios on 17 December 2013 due to its great success on the music charts with the release of the album.

Unfortunately, this clip did not break any record of views. Until today, it has been viewed 200 million times.
