Rapper 50 Cent, a longtime dissenter of embattled hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, is coming out with a hard-hitting documentary about the Bad Boy Records founder. The four-part Netflix series, titled “Sean Combs: The Reckoning”, is set to premiere December 2, 2025. The project promises to shed light on long-standing allegations and controversies surrounding Diddy, combining decades of rivalry with recent legal storms. See teaser below!
According to Netflix’s announcement, the docuseries will include “never-before-seen materials,” offering interviews with former associates and individuals who claim to have been impacted by Diddy’s alleged misconduct. 50 Cent, serving as executive producer, set the tone with a pointed message: he said he was “grateful to everyone who came forward and trusted us with their stories,” and emphasized the project’s mission to tell “real stories” beyond hype and headlines.
That decision comes after years of very public tension between the two men. Their feud dates back to 2006 when 50 Cent released a diss track accusing Diddy of involvement in darker aspects of the music industry. In his track “The Bomb”, the rapper linked Diddy to the death of fellow hip hop artist Notorious B.I.G. – who was killed in a drive-by shooting in 1997. Over the years, the beef would continue over everything from their competing alcohol brands to Diddy’s longtime rumor of misconducts.
In a 2024 interview following Diddy’s arrest for sexual assault allegations, the “In Da Club” rapper had his “I told you so” moment, saying: “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t. It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years.”
With the forthcoming docuseries, 50 Cent is finally turning his long-held animosity into a full-blown dissection of his arch-rival – once considered untouchable due to his fame and connection.
